What the Role Involves

Day-to-Day Supply:

  • No planning or marking required
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons
  • Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
  • Effective behaviour and classroom management
  • Following each school's policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Building strong rapport with pupils and making a positive impact during short visits

Long-Term Supply:

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the school curriculum
  • Marking and providing regular feedback to pupils
  • Working alongside the school's team, attending relevant meetings where required
  • Contributing to the progress and wellbeing of assigned classes
  • Consistent behaviour management and implementation of school expectations
  • Providing continuity and stability for learners over an extended period

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are holding a recent Bachelor’s degree or recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum).
