Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting qualified teachers for daily supply and long-term opportunities in Coventry. We are seeking experienced Primary, Secondary and SEND teachers to work across local schools with flexible daily and long-term placements.

As a supply teacher, you will deliver lessons across multiple subjects, supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, and support student learning in EYFS to KS5 across diverse settings, including SEND and alternative provision.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Recent teaching experience in Primary, Secondary or SEND settings.
• Confidence delivering lessons across multiple subjects (general cover experience is advantageous).
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt to new schools and teaching environments.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to apply.

The Role

As an experienced Teacher providing general cover, you will:

• Deliver lessons across multiple subjects, following existing schemes of work
• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement
• Support learning for students across EYFS to KS2 (Primary), KS3 to KS5 (Secondary), or within SEND and alternative provision settings
• Assist with exam preparation, assessments, and classroom administration
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson handovers
• Gain experience across different schools, departments, and educational settings

Requirements
