Overview

We are seeking Secondary School Subject Teachers to work in schools across Derby and Derbyshire. As a secondary school teacher, you have the opportunity to positively impact young learners by planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop knowledge and skills within your subject area. We are seeking teachers who are passionate about their subject and have a solid grasp of the secondary curriculum, with strong communication skills to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver captivating lessons that nurture students' knowledge and skills within your subject area.
  • Engage and motivate students of varying abilities through clear instruction and classroom management.
  • Work on full-time or part-time, long-term assignments with competitive pay on the teaching scale.
Qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK: You must have the legal right to live and work in the UK, either as a UK citizen or through a valid visa or work permit.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status): You must hold QTS, the professional qualification required to teach in state schools in England and Wales. The National College awards this qualification after you have completed a recognised teaching qualification.
