Job summary

Westfield Arts College in Weymouth is seeking a creative, reflective and solution‑focused supply teacher to support pupils with diverse needs in Weymouth.

The ideal candidate holds QTS (ideally primary trained) and has experience delivering a broad curriculum to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, with emphasis on speech, language and communication needs. You will need excellent communication with pupils, families and colleagues and be adaptable to varying class contexts.

Qualifications

• A qualified teacher with QTS, ideally primary trained.
• Experience delivering a broad curriculum to pupils with SEND, especially in relation to speech, language and communication needs.
• Excellent communication and relational skills with pupils, families and colleagues.
• As a supply teacher you will need to be adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad curriculum to pupils with SEND and differentiate to meet diverse needs.
• Support pupils in developing confidence, independence and self-esteem.
