Supply Teachers – Durham Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel is recruiting supply teachers for secondary schools across Durham. Starting January 2026. Daily cover and short-term teaching needs.

What you’ll be doing:

Stepping into different secondary classrooms for daily cover or longer placements. Managing behaviour, delivering planned lessons, keeping students engaged. You need to be confident walking into unfamiliar schools and building rapport quickly.

You need:

• QTS (or equivalent)
• Strong classroom practice and behaviour management
• Reliability and professionalism
• Ability to adapt fast to different school environments
