Job summary

A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support primary school children with special educational needs across Epping Forest. Candidates should have a compassionate approach and experience with SEND. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a difference in the lives of students. Pay ranges from £85 to £100 per day based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Availability for full-time supply work (Monday–Friday).
  • Reliable transport or a full UK driving licence.
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).

SEND Teaching Assistant – Epping Forest

Location: Epping Forest, Essex
Pay: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
Availability: Available every day for supply work

We’re looking for caring and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in primary schools across the Epping Forest area. If you have experience supporting children with additional needs and a passion for helping every child reach their potential, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work closely with class teachers to provide individualised support, promote engagement, and help create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEND)
  • Understanding of a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • A calm, patient, and compassionate approach to learning
  • The ability to adapt to different classrooms and routines with confidence
