A global wine company based in the UK is seeking a Supply Planning Lead to oversee optimised supply plans across multiple manufacturing sites globally. This role involves managing supplier relations, resolving operational issues, and participating in key planning processes. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of optimised supply plans on a weekly basis within the European based Supply Planning function. The key elements of this role are producing and executing supply plans on a weekly basis that meet overall business requirements. This includes liaising directly with suppliers, freight forwarders, operational teams, Commercial Operations functions and key stakeholders to resolve any issues which arise, along with ensuring clear forward visibility to the business of forward supply plans, requirements and imbalances.
Responsibility for executing supply plans covering inventory holding in excess of £30m GBP for a minimum 7 manufacturing sites in Europe, the Americas and South Africa over 800 PICs.
To lead the planning, issue & execution of Operational Model/Supply Plans for the European Supply Planning function on a weekly basis for the agreed planning horizon (currently 20 weeks).
