Overview

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you familiar with interpreting technical information and using systems to improve and support supply operations strategy? If so, our Supply Continuity team have an excellent opportunity for you to join us as a Supply Performance and Information Technician.

Responsibilities

The role will involve assessing data and information from the supply network to inform maintenance decisions, guide investment, and identify potential risks.

  • air valve technical assessment for maintenance and renewal
  • root cause analysis for asset failures, including mains and boosters
  • water supply booster data, performance monitoring and risk assessment
  • mains deterioration modelling to target appropriate investment
  • developing improved low-pressure monitoring and reporting to meet regulatory requirements
  • developing operational network modelling for supply interruptions and pressure reporting
  • working with the Supply Interruptions Technician to develop improved data management and reporting tools
  • supporting interruptions reporting and review
  • identifying critical assets and vulnerabilities to drive investment and risk mitigation
  • exploring and developing synergies with leakage, water quality and other water supply disciplines to optimise performance
  • supporting the development of 'knowledge capture' and improved asset data.
