Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a Supply Nursery Practitioner to work across Ipswich nurseries and early years settings. You will support children aged 0–5, helping create safe, engaging environments that encourage learning through play.

This role offers flexible hours, with options for part-time or full-time supply, and access to a dedicated consultant to match you with suitable settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Early Years or nursery settings.
• A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Safeguarding Level 2 certificate (or willingness to complete one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0–5 in welcoming Early Years settings, creating fun, safe and engaging environments.
• Work across a range of settings including nurseries, school nurseries and preschools.

What you'll be doing

You’ll support children aged 0‑5 in a range of welcoming Early Years settings, creating fun, safe and engaging environments where children can learn through play, build confidence and thrive.

You’ll have the chance to work across:

• Private day nurseries
• School nursery classes
• Preschools
• Children’s centres
• Early Years provisions within primary schools
