Job summary

Kids Planet George Eliot is hiring a Supply/Bank Early Years Educator on a flexible, as-needed basis. You’ll join a friendly team, support high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS, and help children thrive in a welcoming nursery environment.

Desirable Level 2 UK EY qualification and safeguarding knowledge are noted; we offer training through KP Academy, great benefits, and a supportive central team.

Qualifications

• Flexible working arrangements as a Supply/Bank Educator.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Support nursery routines and activities as part of the team.

Through providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children, supporting their development in line with the EYFS.

By working flexibly with teams to deliver engaging activities and maintain routines in the nursery.

By building positive relationships with children and families, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.

What a Supply/Bank Early Years Educator needs:

Desirable but not essential to be Level 2 qualified or higher in a UK recognised early years qualification.

An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, or an enthusiasm to learn more.

Knowledge of safeguarding children.
