The Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Supply Chain Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team in Gainsborough. This cross‑functional role is central to managing the end‑to‑end supply chain process, coordinating procurement, planning, and logistics to ensure smooth product flow from suppliers through to production and dispatch. You’ll help maintain world‑class planning and logistics standards, ensuring on‑time deliveries, accurate scheduling, and seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end supply chain planning, from order placement through to dispatch.
  • Liaise with logistics to ensure trade compliance and supplier performance from global sources.
  • Create and maintain production plans aligned with customer requirements.
  • Monitor and manage supplier deliveries, ensuring purchase orders and schedules are issued on time.
  • Oversee MRP/ERP exception messages, overdue orders, and performance metrics such as OTIF.
  • Ensure perfect order release confirming all parts are available before production.
  • Support production with accurate documentation and planning data.
  • Assist with audits (internal, external, and customer) and maintain process documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
About You
  • Strong understanding of transport methods and logistics processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels.
  • Able to make informed decisions under pressure with a can‑do attitude.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Office; MRP/ERP experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
