Overview

Location: Reading, Berkshire. Hybrid/office-based with on-site days required. 3 days in the office. Salary up to £70,000 plus bonus up to 10%. Hours: 7.30am – 16.30, Mon – Fri. 24 days holiday + bank holidays.

Note: You must live near Reading, Berkshire as this is not fully remote.

Responsibilities
  • Product Management (supply chain project management)
  • Vesting management and end of month financial forecasting
  • Reactive role focusing on problem management, financial forecasting, and vesting (vesting is a contractual mechanism where ownership of materials transfers to the buyer before delivery). One direct report – Project Co-ordinator.
  • Manage suppliers with frequent visits (approximately 8/10 per month), traveling to Ireland, Coventry, Essex, Midlands as required.
  • Set an example of positive leadership and proactively manage domestic and global production activities to achieve desired production outputs.
  • Maintain regular communication with domestic and global manufacturing partners, document discussions via Power BI, delegate, execute, and hold supply chain members accountable for critical actions to maintain production flow.
  • Visit suppliers as needed to maintain relationships, review production processes and output quality.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Logistics to plan production efficiently and report to the Production Director.
  • Submit production forecasts to key suppliers quarterly to aid factory planning.
  • Assist or oversee Vesting processes, including drafting vesting certificates, obtaining product photos, and drafting vesting schedules for financial applications aligned with revenue forecasts and client requirements.
  • Maintain professional communication with customer commercial teams to deliver world-class customer service.
  • Support or oversee client vesting visits to production and storage locations to ensure satisfaction and timely payments.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Production, Revenue, Vesting, and customer experience through improved processes and IT automation.
  • Manage your team with regular feedback via 1-2-1s and quarterly appraisals; contribute to quarterly department goals using SMART principles aligned with company strategy.
  • Forecast revenue in line with design, production, and delivery plans; hold colleagues accountable for information delivery within deadlines; work with purchasing, production, finance, and contract managers.
  • Ensure all projects in the contract projection model have revenue forecasts; ensure new sales projects are added to the model; circulate monthly revenue projections and hold weekly revenue meetings with finance and contract managers.
  • Validate and circulate quarterly revenue projections to the Board; update revenue split between products and suppliers; collaborate with Finance to implement a cash projection model to assess overall cash flow.
