Job description

We re looking for a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to take the lead on purchasing and logistics operations across a busy healthcare setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who s confident in driving efficiencies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring critical medical supplies are always available when needed.

About the candidate

You ll have solid experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally gained within healthcare or a similar environment. You ll bring strong negotiation skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clinical and non-clinical teams. A proactive mindset and confidence in leading improvements will be key to your success in this role.

Salary: From GBP50,000 (DOE)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Eastleigh

What you ll do
  • Develop and deliver procurement strategies that support operational and clinical priorities
  • Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers to achieve the best value without compromising on quality
  • Oversee stock control, forecasting, and delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations
  • Lead on contract negotiation and compliance with relevant UK procurement regulations
  • Manage the full purchasing process, from requisitions and orders through to invoicing and reporting
  • Support internal teams by identifying supply needs and responding quickly to changing demands
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead on audits and risk assessments
  • Use procurement and stock management systems to keep processes efficient and transparent
  • Champion sustainability, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and support procurement and stockroom teams where required
