A leading UK bakery in Leicester is looking for a Production Planner to manage and optimize production schedules. The successful candidate will have over 3 years of experience in production planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The supply chain department forms the central hub between suppliers, the warehouse, production, loading, hauliers, customers, hygiene, engineering, and other external stakeholders. It is a key cornerstone that allows our operation to run effectively and efficiently, ensuring all parties know what is required from them, and at what time. It requires someone who is highly communicative, with strong interpersonal skills, to build good relationships with all the above areas. This person should have an eye for detail however be able to keep things simple and to the point.
