The eCommerce function sits at the centre of this evolution, shaping how millions of customers browse, discover, and shop online. It's a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on creating effortless journeys that delight customers every day.

The Role

The Discovery Optimisation Specialist will join the digital commerce team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, they will play a key part in improving how customers find and interact with products online - across search, navigation, taxonomy, and product ranking. Working closely with trading, UX, and SEO teams, they will deliver test-and-learn initiatives that enhance discoverability, engagement, and conversion. Using data and insight, they will refine customer journeys, support experimentation, and drive performance through continuous optimisation. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both the customer experience and commercial outcomes.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in eCommerce trading, digital merchandising, or site optimisation, ideally gained within a fast-moving retail or digital environment. They will be confident using tools such as Google Analytics, ContentSquare, or similar platforms to interpret data and identify actionable insights. A strong communicator and collaborator, they will influence across teams and balance commercial priorities with customer needs. Curious, analytical, and proactive, they will thrive in a test-and-learn environment and enjoy finding smarter, data-driven ways to improve the customer journey.
