Warehouse Kitting Operative

Location: Inchinnan (Onsite)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00
Hours per Week: 37.5
Pay Rate: 12.65 per hour
Annual Equivalent Salary: £25,155
Contract Duration: 18 weeks, with potential for permanent employment
Start Date: ASAP
Overtime: Optional
Interview Format: One-stage onsite interview (60 minutes)

As a Warehouse Kitting Operative, you'll play a vital role in preparing production kits by picking and assembling materials, ensuring everything is ready for the next stage of manufacturing. Key Responsibilities

• Review upcoming production batches to identify stock needs
• Pick bags, fill lines, and consumables according to batch specifications
• Assemble complete kits ready for production
• Manage stock levels and replenish inventory
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts (small part of the role)
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet deadlines
• Support waste reduction and efficient resource use
• Follow all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• GCSE Grade 3 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licences
• Previous experience in a warehouse or production setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills; ERP system experience is desirable
• Good communication and a positive, can-do attitude

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending throughout the day
