Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree education (in the field of Logistics & Economics / Supply Chain).
  • Strong experience working in a similar role within a production environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Extensive experience with ERP (preferably SAP).
  • Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.

  • Managing KTI and Subcontracting processes.
  • Coordinating people and resources planning with all relevant departments.

  • Updating data in the ERP system (SAP).
  • Contribute ideas on efficiency improvements.

Overview Of The Supply Chain & Materials Planner Position

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Supply Chain & Materials Planner to join our Operations team based at our Basildon site in Essex. This is a full time position working 39 hours per week on a permanent basis.

You will be planning optimal capacity (people, material and equipment) in Production, for the relevant Plant(s) so that production- and customer orders may be processed smoothly and the products delivered on time and in-line with the customer's expectations.

Responsibilities Of Our Supply Chain & Materials Planner Position
  • Determining purchasing, production and capacity planning using sales forecast and open orders.
  • Managing KTI and Subcontracting processes.
  • Coordinating people and resources planning with all relevant Plant departments and the various Kingspan sales offices (daily).
  • Managing purchasing, production planning, taking into account available capacity and stock levels.
  • Discuss any adjustments to the planning with the relevant departments.
  • Assuring optimal balance between customer service and cost-efficient planning.
  • Responsible for correctly updating data in the ERP system (SAP).
  • Contribute ideas on potential efficiency improvements in Production, Warehouse and Transport.
  • Managing Material Master and Intercompany price adjustments.
