SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - £55,000-£65,000 + Package - Derby (2-3 Days Onsite)

One of the UK's most respected construction groups is expanding its Procurement & Supply Chain function and is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of new projects and an emphasis on operational excellence, this role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance supply chain performance across a major national contractor.

This is an ideal position for an industry professional who enjoys working collaboratively, building effective supplier relationships, and driving improved ways of working across the business.

The Role - Supply Chain Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Work as a key member of the Supply Chain team, collaborating closely with colleagues and internal stakeholders
  • Manage and support the performance of an established supply chain, ensuring consistent delivery and high-quality service
  • Drive improved data reporting, performance tracking, and analysis to support decision‑making
  • Lead and project manage the onboarding of new contracts, suppliers, and ways of working
  • Support new enquiries and play a role in work‑winning activity by preparing supply chain information and engaging with potential partners
  • Build strong relationships with existing suppliers as well as identify new opportunities within the market
  • Hold project‑focused conversations with suppliers, aligning expectations, commitments, and delivery plans
Experience & Background
  • Strong experience in supply chain management within construction or a related industry
  • Demonstrable capability in supplier performance management, data reporting, and process improvement
  • Experience engaging directly with suppliers and managing ongoing relationships
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to a collaborative, supportive environment
  • Comfortable working 2-3 days a week in Derby, with flexibility across the rest of the week
