Supply Chain Manager – Doncasters Deritend

Doncasters invites experienced supply chain professionals to join our team in Doncasters Deritend, Worcestershire.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30–5, Friday 8:30–2:10

The Role

We are expanding our Purchasing function and require a Supply Chain Manager to plan, source and buy the best quality materials, equipment and services at competitive prices.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will...
  • Lead and support 2 direct reports.
  • Collaborate with production and capacity planning to align materials availability with production plans.
  • Research and work closely with Engineering to select the best products and suppliers in terms of quality and value.
  • Forecast price trends and assess their impact on future operational activity.
  • Develop a purchasing and stocking strategy.
Desired experience and skills

To succeed you will have previous experience in a senior supply chain or procurement role within a manufacturing/engineering company. Experience in an Investment Casting or Industrial Gas Turbine company is advantageous.

Data analytical skills, proven Excel, communication and negotiation skills are required. You will have led and supported a team since you will support 2 direct reports.
