Join Our Supply Chain Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our incredible team in Crewe! If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for optimising operations, this is the perfect role for you.

You’ll be responsible for managing labour and revenue budgets, and maintaining the seamless flow of goods, from raw materials to the timely delivery of high-quality finished products.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring everything runs smoothly across planning, logistics, and supplier relationships. Your leadership, problem‑solving skills, and strategic thinking will drive supply chain excellence, optimising operations to meet production needs and market demand.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

Your Duties Will Include:
  • Creating a suite of KPIs to assess the performance of the functions under your control
  • Review KPIs and functional performance
  • Managing the performance of your team, ensuring high standards and continuous development
  • Implementing system improvements to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and cut costs
  • Attending meetings as required to stay aligned with business goals and priorities
  • Instigating and managing projects as required by the business to drive success
  • Ensuring correct stockholding of raw materials and packaging both on and off-site
  • Ensuring accurate documentation is maintained to track movements throughout the supply chain
  • Collaborating with the Group Supply Chain to enhance functional capabilities and operational efficiency
  • Ensuring resources are in place to effectively deliver on all responsibilities
  • Taking on any additional tasks allocated by your manager to support the wider team
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management within the food industry
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Knowledge of UK food regulations and industry best practices
