Supply Chain Manager
We are partnering with a leading FMCG company who connect global brands with consumers across the UK and Ireland.
This is a newly created Senior Leadership role. The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the COO to forecast and anticipate business needs and ensure the supply chain is future ready, resilient and aligned with strategic objectives. This role is office based in Belfast.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Overseeing procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, and inventory operations.
- Leading contract negotiations to secure best value and build long term supplier relationships.
- Forecasting and planning supply to support sales and marketing activities.
- Driving continuous improvement in cost efficiency, service performance, and sustainability.
- Managing risk and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team to foster collaboration and accountability.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance to achieve shared business goals.
What you will need to have for the Supply Chain Manager role:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience leading supply chain, procurement, or Operations
- Degree-qualified in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or a related field
- CIPS qualification (MCIPS) would be highly desirable, with additional certifications such as CILT or APICS/CSCP considered an advantage.
- Skilled in supplier negotiations, logistics coordination, and end-to-end supply chain management.
- Strong commercial mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and achieving results.
- Proficient in ERP and supply chain management systems to enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Strategic and solutions focused, with excellent problem-solving and people leadership skills.
