Overview

One of the UK's leading construction product manufacturers seeks to appoint a talented and experienced Supply Chain Analyst, Supply Chain Administrator, Supply Chain Planner or a similar skilled supply chain professional to take on this important role within a busy and demanding supply chain, customer supply management and planning division.

Salary and Contract

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience plus excellent company package and benefits.

Contract: Fixed Term of between 8 - 12 months with likelihood of extension.

Location

Easily commutable areas to this job include Stone, Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Nantwich, Congleton, Cheadle and other areas in Staffordshire / Cheshire / Shropshire.

The Role

Joining the supply chain division at this award winning company who supply construction, industrial and engineering products via retail, wholesaler and merchant routes to market, you will play a vital role within the business as the supply chain analyst and administrator. This position is initially to cover a fixed term period of 8 - 12 months; however an extension is potentially on offer for the right person.

Using state of the art SAP systems and processes designed to make supply meet demand across the UK, you will have a multifunctional role ensuring that supply chain professionals are supported and that processes within this busy division meet retail customer satisfactions.

The diverse and thorough job description will be supplied on application; however, fundamentally you will employ your direct experience supporting operational, commercial and planning teams both internally and in the wider marketplace.

Candidate Requirements
  • We are looking for a methodical and data driven supply chain analyst who not only enjoys the analytical and forward thinking aspects of being a supply chain analyst, but also must be a "right first time" and extremely accurate administrator of all supporting documentation, reporting, and process systems.
  • This role would perfectly suit a supply chain analyst who has a mathematical, numerical, financial or data driven background with supporting qualifications. SAP experience is required.
  • Ideally, candidates will have awareness and appreciation of the supply chain supporting the retail, wholesale, merchant or similar retail guided marketplace. Construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, M&E or similar industry experience would be advantageous.
  • This role is based in Staffordshire; ideally, candidates living within 45 minutes of the Stoke / Stone area.
