Job summary

A leading logistics firm is looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Coordinator based in Filton. The successful candidate will manage purchase orders, optimize delivery parameters, and ensure timely product delivery to customers. This role requires strong experience in supply chain management and proficiency in SAP. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams. This is a contract position lasting until November 2026.

Job description

Carbon60 is seeking a highly motivated and customer‑focused Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dynamic client based in Filton. As a key member of the Supply Chain department, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers worldwide.

This position is a contract role lasting until November 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to align with customer requirements
  • Optimise ordering parameters to improve delivery performance and quality
  • Manage reordering tasks after rejections, scrap, or damages
  • Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular supplier interactions
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and provide feedback as needed
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues, goods receipts, quality notices, and invoices
  • Analyse MRP and supply chain exception messages
  • Monitor supplier stock and support the scrap/sell/transfer process where required
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to understand and apply requirements planning principles
  • Self‑motivated with a keen desire to learn and take on challenges
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
