A growing measurement solutions company in Glasgow is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to expedite orders, manage documentation, and monitor purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have administration experience in a supply chain team, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Qualifications

  • Prior experience in administration within a supply chain team is essential.
  • Must be confident in dealing with customers regularly.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.

As a growing organisation, JWF deliver bespoke measurement and data software solutions for customers to support their process and utility applications.

JWF manage major projects supplying instrumentation packages to blue chip customers. JWF are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Assistant within their established Supply Chain Team.

Responsibilities
  • Expedite orders.
  • Control documentation submittal.
  • Monitor and process purchase orders.
  • Act as a point of contact for supply chain queries.
  • Provide updates to customers on calls, teleconferences and meetings.
  • Liaise with vendors to monitor their performance.
Qualifications
  • Administration experience within a supply chain team.
  • Confident in dealing with customers.
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT literate with an interest and knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Able to integrate and add value to a successful team in a dynamic environment.
