Role: Supply Chain and Demand Specialist

Location: Maidenhead

Salary: £48,000 per annum

Contract Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

Are you looking to take the next step in your supply chain career within a fast-paced, dynamic environment? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading diagnostics business as a Supply Chain and Demand Specialist, supporting operations within a major UK toxicology division.

In this role, you will support a wide range of supply chain activities, from demand and supply planning to managing relationships with third‑party manufacturers and service providers. You will also contribute to process improvements and project management initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse sales history and collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to develop accurate demand plans.
  • Monitor and update demand forecasts in response to market changes and new product introductions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, resolving any logistics or customs issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage change controls.
  • Provide general supply chain support, assisting with projects and process development as needed.
About You
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Operations‑ideally within the medical device or diagnostics sector.
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAGE, SAP).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
  • Confident in negotiating with suppliers and collaborating cross‑functionally.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
