Working hours: 37.5 hours p/w (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00)

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst plays a key role in delivering class-leading availability to patients by ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities include managing supplier quota levels, stockholding, and forecasting with suppliers.

Key responsibilities
  • Placing orders with manufacturers and suppliers
  • Proactively following up on purchase orders
  • Investigating stock-related complaints and implementing corrective actions
  • Reviewing stockholding through accurate min/max levels and non-moving stock analysis
  • Driving improvements to enhance availability and reduce stock holding
  • Collaborating with wholesalers and manufacturers on supply issues
  • Working with clinical and customer service teams to manage out-of-stock medicines
Candidate requirements
  • Extensive experience in a commercial buying or supply chain role in retail or supplier environment
  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Numerate and IT literate, with experience in IT systems and quick learning ability
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel at an intermediate level
  • Experience working with complex data and systems to improve supply chain processes
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports
  • Experience in planning and implementing supply optimization projects
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in FMCG is preferred
