Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Wrexham, North Wales - 3 Days Working from Home! Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon–Thu: 9am–5pm, Fri: 8am–4pm) Salary: Competitive

About the Role

Our client, a leading UK food products distributor, is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is pivotal in supporting multiple departments and reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. It suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on problem-solving and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Product & Promotional Launches:
    • Coordinate new product rollouts from pricing approval through to market launch.
    • Place initial supplier orders, confirm volumes, ready dates, and forecasts.
    • Liaise with suppliers to manage timelines and elevate issues where necessary.
    • Maintain accurate product records and communicate updates across departments.
  • Demand Planning:
    • Monitor and analyse potential delays in production or transport and assess impact.
    • Escalate stock risks and liaise with suppliers and transport teams.
    • Update weekly reports and support inter-site transfers and forecast switchovers.
  • Pricing Analysis:

    • Analyse cost efficiencies and identify opportunities for savings.
    • Prepare pricing files for new products and maintain monthly updates.
