Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Avonmouth is seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to join its flagship operation. You will build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms and manage stock across a broad range of electrical products.

The role offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000, a profit share scheme and the chance to shape a newly created position within a growing business. Monday to Friday, office-based with on-going training and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, stock management or similar commercial role, or in electrical wholesale with strong product knowledge
• Understanding of stock turnover, inventory investment, purchasing trends and demand planning
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with data interpretation
• Confident in negotiating and building relationships with suppliers and colleagues
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and able to own a newly created role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment

A leading electrical products distributor is looking to recruit a Supplier Relationship Manager to join its flagship Avonmouth operation.

Key responsibilities include

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships

Requirements

• Experience within purchasing, inventory control, stock management or a similar commercial role, or experience within the electrical wholesale sector with strong product knowledge
• A good understanding of stock turnover, inventory investment, purchasing trends and demand planning
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Confidence when negotiating and building relationships with suppliers and colleagues
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of a newly created role
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced commercial environment
