Supplier Quality Technician required by leading Gloucester based engineering company. The successful Supplier Quality Technician will support with investigating non conformances, monitoring of supplier performance and continuous improvement. Main Duties: Supplier Quality Technician

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials and components sourced from suppliers.
  • Working with the Quality and Production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure that materials meet the required specifications.
  • Assisting with auditing of suppliers and making recommendations.
  • Root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions when required.
  • Carrying out investigations of non conforming materials and problem solving.
  • Chasing outstanding documents from suppliers.
Qualifications
  • A manufacturing, engineering or quality engineering background.
  • Knowledge of root cause investigation techniques.
  • Mechanical Inspection knowledge.
  • A flexible approach and positive attitude.
  • Eager to learn new skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
