Job summary

Bombardier’s London Service Centre at Biggin Hill seeks a Supplier Performance Agent to lead supplier visits, drive performance improvements and coordinate with procurement, quality and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations management).
• 10+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Strong manufacturing/production knowledge.
• Experience with sub-tiers.
• Independent and able to work with minimal information.
• Experience in project planning and cross-sector coordination.
• Expert level MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong ethics and customer focus.
• Good analytical, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Operational and financial management knowledge (asset).
• Understanding of supplier-Bombardier relationships.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier visits to analyze performance and coordinate improvements.
• Expedite critical parts with suppliers to avoid production disruption.
• Develop back-to-PO plans with suppliers and monitor daily follow-ups.
• Align with internal stakeholders and maintain a clear supplier mandate.
• Identify supplier improvement and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Drive supplier performance improvement plans and coordinate with partners.
• Create supplier development plans focused on quality, delivery, capacity.
• Provide regular progress feedback to stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively and escalate when needed.
• Conduct capacity/capability onsite reviews and define actions.
• Coordinate travel plans: reservations, follow-ups, expense claims.
