Supplier Management Team Leader

Location: Birmingham, Bristol or London | Full-Time

Mitie are seeking a Supplier Management Team Leader to join our Procurement Centre of Excellence. You'll be the key driver of the supplier management strategy, driving continuous improvement across processes, tools, and engagement models to ensure alignment with business and customer objectives. You'll work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to embed best practices, optimise supplier lifecycle and contract management, and track performance against strategic goals. Leading a team of Supplier Management professionals, you'll also contribute to specialist projects and shape the future direction of supplier management within Mitie.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Supplier Management Programme and Framework, ensuring robust governance and performance tracking.
• Providing training, tools, and guidance to internal teams to support consistent supplier engagement.
• Managing supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Undertaking SMP audits.
• Driving the use of AI tools within the Procurement function.
• Line managing a small team.

Qualifications

• Procurement Professional with deep expertise in Supplier Management and a strong track record in managing complex contracts.
• Forward-thinking leader skilled in stakeholder engagement and change management, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience with SAP, Coupa, and reporting tools is highly desirable.
• Facilities Management background is ideal but not essential.
• Strong interest in AI and automation within the workplace.
