The role

You will take the lead on developing and implementing global sourcing strategies across key commodities, identifying and onboarding new European and Global suppliers.

This is a role with real scope – influencing cost, capability, sustainability and innovation across a multi-million-pound spend.

• Source, evaluate and onboard new suppliers globally
• Develop and negotiate contracts, SLAs and long-term agreements
• Build and manage supplier scorecards, audits and performance metrics
• Drive cost efficiencies, quality improvements and sustainable sourcing practices
• Use market intelligence to anticipate change, spot opportunities and stay ahead of global trends
• Travel internationally to meet suppliers, strengthen relationships and gain market insight

About you

You are commercially sharp, analytical, and confident negotiating at a senior level. You have worked in manufacturing procurement and bring strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development and commodity or category management.

You will enjoy building strategic partnerships and have delivered measurable cost savings, improved supplier performance and built trust with suppliers who want to work with you long-term.
