G&P Quality Management Ltd. is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer/STA specialist to lead a supplier quality turnaround program. Initially in Warwick, then relocation to Motherwell/Cumbernauld, with a hands-on role driving corrective actions and sustained performance improvements.

You will work with production, quality and supplier teams to identify issues, implement actions, and close quality gaps. Experience delivering measurable supplier performance improvements is essential.

• Hands-on supplier quality role focused on improving supplier performance and driving manufacturing improvements.
• Experience leading quality turnarounds in production environments is required.
• STA or supplier quality background with measurable improvements preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead supplier quality improvement and recovery activities.
• Facilitate 8D investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop and improve PFMEAs and Control Plans.
• Create SOPs, work instructions and inspection standards.
• Support PPAP activities, ideally including Level 3 submissions.
• Define critical characteristics from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Implement improvements directly on the shop floor.
• Manage multiple quality actions through to closure.
• Provide hands-on leadership in supplier quality turnaround initiatives.

Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer or STA specialist who has successfully turned around underperforming suppliers?

• Initial onboarding in Warwick before relocating to Motherwell/Cumbernauld

This is a hands-on Supplier Quality role focused on recovering supplier performance and driving sustainable manufacturing improvements. We're looking for someone who has personally led quality turnarounds, not simply supported them.

Role Overview

You will take the lead on a supplier quality improvement programme, initially spending time in Warwick to understand the product and build relationships before relocating to the supplier site in Motherwell.

Working closely with production, quality and supplier teams, you will identify issues, implement corrective actions and drive quality performance through to closure.

This is a hands-on Supplier Quality role focused on improving supplier performance and driving sustainable manufacturing improvements. We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality professional with a proven track record of delivering quality improvements within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier quality improvement and recovery activities
• Facilitate 8D investigations and root cause analysis
• Develop and improve PFMEAs and Control Plans
• Create SOPs, work instructions and inspection standards
• Support PPAP activities, ideally including Level 3 submissions
• Define critical characteristics from engineering drawings and specifications
• Implement improvements directly on the shop floor
• Manage multiple quality actions through to closure
• Proven supplier quality turnaround experience within manufacturing
• Strong Supplier Quality, Supplier Development or STA background
• Hands-on experience leading 8D investigations and corrective actions
• Experience developing PFMEAs, Control Plans and work instructions
• PPAP knowledge and submission experience
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Track record of delivering measurable supplier performance improvements
