A local authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated individual responsible for overseeing pupil safety and conduct during break periods. The role involves supervision in dining and playground areas with additional duties to maintain discipline. This permanent part-time position is for 5.83 hours a week over 39 weeks a year, inclusive of a Distant Islands Allowance. The ideal candidate will join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme before employment. Flexible working options are available.
Responsible, under the direction of the head of establishment or such other officer as may be designated by the authority, individually or as a member of a team, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the local authority. Duties will include supervision of the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises and may include ancillary associated duties (for example cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc) to ensure the maintenance of good order and discipline.
