Annual salary: up to £41,820.68

Supervisor

Dartford

Full Time Permanent. 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday to Friday)

Salary up to £41,820.68 per annum.

We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm's Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

Supervisor Duties
  • Manage operative performance/ Productivity to achieve KPI's.
  • Manage site health and safety through site packs, inspections, and monthly compliance.
  • Respond to internal and external queries in timely manner.
  • Manage fleet for assigned Direct Labour Operatives.
  • Produce Scope of works where not supplied / Variations.
  • Pre-start, Mid, and Post work inspections.
  • Assess completed orders (desktop) ensuring sufficient photographic evidence and notes to support commercial invoicing.
  • Subcontractor management, ensuring targets and quality are met.
  • Diary monitoring for correct allocation of skills and time frame
  • Appraisals for assigned operatives.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
  • Undertake interviews for new operatives/ liaise Mear's recruitment.
  • Induction of new operatives
  • Regular site attendance
  • Manage Direct Labour Operatives H.R. issues with assistance from Meras H.R. department.
  • all other non-specified duties associated with a supervisor role.
Role Criteria
  • Experience in Building Maintenance
  • Worked within a supervisory role
  • Line Management Experience
  • Good Customer Service Skills
  • UK full driving license

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.

Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
