Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to support Defence operations on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). The role focuses on supervising a frontline team, ensuring deliveries are checked, and maintaining high food safety and health standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, customer-service mindset. This position is within the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock.
• Maintaining correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
