The Joseph Gallagher Group is a UK-based civil engineering and tunnelling contractor seeking a Site Supervisor to lead on-site activities. The role concentrates on maintaining progress, safety, and regulatory compliance across tunnelling projects, supervising crews, and coordinating with engineers.

Applicants should have tunnelling experience, a valid SMSTS certificate, a Gold Card Supervisor level 3, and First Aid training.

Formación

• Tunnelling/Shaft experience.
• Experience as a Tunnelling Supervisor.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Gold Card Supervisor level 3.
• First Aid certification.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain progress and safety during works.
• Assist and support engineers in carrying out works and ensure they are on schedule and compliant with regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise site workers.
• Ensure completion of work in line with the main contractor program and requirements.
• Prepare and submit site daily reports and progress updates.

As the Site Supervisor, you will be required to:

• Maintain progress and safety during works


• Assist and support engineers in carrying out works as assigned and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations


• Coordinate and supervise site workers


• Ensure completion of work in accordance to the main contractor program and requirements


• Preparation and submission of site daily reports/progress

To be successful in this position, you must have:

• Tunnelling / Shaft experience


• Relevant experience working as a Tunnelling Supervisor


• SMSTS


• Gold card supervisor level 3


• First Aid
