Job summary

A global service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a candidate for a food and beverage management role. The ideal applicant will have front of house experience, be able to supervise a team, and ensure high standards in food service and hygiene. Job description

Customers are delivered the highest quality of service through efficient management of assigned staff and continuous improvement to product and services. Constantly seek customer feedback and opportunities to develop the lounge product and communicate such in a concise manner to Emirates personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure presentation of all food and beverage items, monitor quality and quantity, and keep displays as per specification.
  • Maintain buffet and stock levels of all F&B items; replenish regularly in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Control and monitor hygiene standards as per HACCP and provide training and guidance to staff on food safety.
  • Oversee staff performance; train, coach, motivate and counsel staff to ensure smooth operation.
  • Monitor staff punctuality and grooming, guiding as required.
  • Ensure personal and food hygiene, as well as housekeeping standards, are adhered to in the lounge, food service areas and kitchen.
  • Interact with lounge customers to gather feedback on service/product and report findings to SDX and Emirates management.
  • Communicate product, service and customer issues to SDX and Emirates management for timely corrective action.
  • Plan and delegate tasks to team members at the start of each shift.
  • Ensure staff update work log records and time sheets to support smooth operation.
  • Oversee ordering of all produce to maintain sufficient supplies of F&B and other materials.
Ideal Candidate
Essential
  • Front of house and customer-facing experience.
  • Experience in supervising a team.
  • Basic food service experience.
  • Highly motivated and attentive to detail.
  • Able to work independently within a team environment.
Desirable
  • Lounge experience.
  • Airport experience.
Working Conditions

Package: £14.90 per hour.

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off (2 early shifts, 2 late shifts, 2 days off).

Must provide 5 years of working history and UK address history.
