Job summary

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is seeking a proactive Site Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day operations on wastewater maintenance and repair projects across the South of England. You will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality works while aligning with the project manager and stakeholders.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in utilities or civil engineering, a solid understanding of wastewater networks, and strong leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in utilities, construction, or civil engineering (wastewater experience desirable).
• Good understanding of wastewater networks and civil engineering principles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• NRSWA Streetworks certification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day site operations to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Oversee site teams and subcontractors and monitor progress.
• Manage resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team, supporting the delivery of wastewater network maintenance and repair projects. In this role, you will take responsibility for coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will oversee site teams and subcontractors, monitor project progress, manage resources effectively, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Working closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders, you will play a vital part in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption.

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response and rehabilitation works.
