Job description

We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Highways team based in Picketts Lock Lane, London. In this role you will oversee and coordinate site teams, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of reactive maintenance, routine tasks, minor works, and planned schemes. A full driving licence is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Effective planning, programming & delivery of programme of works
  • Undertake safety site inspections of all works minimum 4 per month
  • Report incidents/accidents in line with the Kier Golden Hour process
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are being adhered to across the contract – 5 SHE Basics, 10 steps to safe excavation, SSOW/RA/POWRA
  • Ensure the CDM Regulations 2015 principal contractor responsibilities are being adhered to across all works
  • Support winter service operations and respond to emergency out‑of‑hours requirements when needed
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience in Highways Maintenance at a supervisory level
  • A certificate in Site Safety Management (SMSTS / SSSTS)
  • NRSWA Supervisor card
  • LGV licence and City & Guilds 6159
