Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is helping an established organisation recruit a Supervising Social Worker to cover a North Devon caseload. You will hold a Diploma or Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK, with post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Work and up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding legislation.

This role offers hybrid working, a part-time pattern (3 days per week), and benefits including 28 days annual leave, training, and out-of-hours pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship).
• Experience within Children's Social Work post qualification with up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children in North Devon within safeguarding frameworks.
• Provide safeguarding, welfare, and statutory duties in line with current legislation.
