Job description

The Marine Agreements Field Service Resources team oversees field service resourcing for two extensive maintenance agreements with Marine customers, managing all engine maintenance and monitoring, both scheduled and unscheduled. We are responsible for safely extending overhaul intervals whenever possible, thanks to our close monitoring of the ship's engines. We have a passion for doing things right, and our customers appreciate the world-class service we provide. We are now looking for a dynamic and safety-oriented Superintendent Engineer, Mechanical to join our skilled team.

Responsibilities
  • Performing field service activities on Wärtsilä marine diesel engines according to the work plan and contractual obligations.
  • Conducting contract-specified overhauls and maintenance with the customer Riding Team.
  • Coordinating, delegating and executing on-site RT tasks.
  • Interacting professionally with customers throughout work execution, delivering solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Providing internal and external progress updates on assigned work.
  • Following up and reporting on the status of work orders to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Creating Service Work reports.
  • Adhering to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines, regulations, site procedures, and policies.

  • Knowledge of auxiliary systems.
