RAC is seeking a Roadside Mechanic in the UK. You'll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and keep customers moving with calm, clear communication. You’ll manage your own toolkit, keep your RAC van stocked, and document reports with precision.

Shifts vary between early mornings and nights, including weekends and bank holidays. A full UK driving licence is required, and progression toward industry accreditation is supported with structured development and training.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.

Competitive salary:

£50,669 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £57,000

Weekly variety:

You'll work the on average 40 hours per week across the year, receiving your roster seven days in advance with your core working hours confirmed three days prior.

Thrive outside of 9-5:

Shifts will fall between 06:00 and 02:00, and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays., A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
