Overview

A wonderful family in a sweet village in Worcestershire are looking for the perfect Norland Nanny to join their family. The nanny will be responsible for the overall care of their one year old daughter. Leading routines, activities and child-centred duties to support the smooth running of the home. You will work alongside the parents on a daily basis, so a communicative, confident, honest and sociable nanny is crucial. The nanny will enjoy implementing child appropriate activities including messy and sensory play. The Norland Nanny will have fantastic knowledge and passion for children’s development as well as a natural skill for working in private households that makes the life of the family run more smoothly. The little girl enjoys going out on walks, engaging with care givers on the swings and swimming classes. Due to the role being shared care, the nanny will have plenty of opportunity for completing child-centred tasks and projects such as organising the child’s wardrobes, food shopping, meal preparation and planning for the week. A professional who is proactive, professional, and dependable, who takes initiative and can balance both childcare and household duties confidently. Strong organisational and administrative skills able to act as an executive assistant to the family when required, including family appointments, calendar management, liaising with other household staff and contractors, maintaining inventories and ordering supplies.

Additions

Other Information

The family also employ a full-time housekeeper.

Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week

This is a live-in or live-out position.

Days required: Monday – Friday

Driving required: Confident driver required—car available on duty. Must be comfortable travelling between Birmingham and Worcester.

Job start date: ASAP

Pay: £40,000 gross per annum
