Are you passionate about supporting young people to make informed decisions about their future? Do you enjoy engaging with students across secondary schools, sixth forms, and colleges?
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Southern Universities Network (SUN) as a Project Facilitator, delivering the Uni Connect programme funded by the Office for Students. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively across the region to support students aged 13–19 in exploring their educational pathways.
As a SUN Project Facilitator, you’ll deliver engaging workshops and events both in schools and on campus, helping young people understand the opportunities available in higher education. You’ll also play a key role in organising activities, liaising with partner schools and colleges, and creating impactful resources that support widening participation.
The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is a partnership of higher education providers, further education colleges, schools, and other organisations across Dorset, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. The Uni Connect programme aims to reduce gaps in higher education participation and promote collaboration across the sector.
This role is based at the University of Winchester and involves travel across the SUN region, with the flexibility of hybrid working. You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to equity in education and will work closely with colleagues across institutions and external partners.
