Job summary

Maven Securities invites high-potential penultimate-year undergraduates or master's students to join a structured nine-week Summer Trader Internship in London. The programme runs 21 June–20 August 2027, featuring options theory, trading simulation, and shadowing across desks.

Interns gain practical market making exposure, with feedback from Trading and Emerging Talent teams and potential progression to the Graduate Trader Programme for top performers.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy and a solid grasp of probability and statistics.
• Genuine interest in financial markets and a drive to learn.
• Willingness to adopt and utilise emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build practical trading skills in our simulation environment.
• Use the same tools as our traders and observe live trades.
• Learn from traders across desks through shadowing and project work.
• Participate in Reading Week and complete an independent project.
