Job summary

PIMCO London invites ambitious undergraduates to join the 2027 Summer Internship in Technology. This 10-week program runs June to mid-August and places you in the Technology team to develop cutting-edge software alongside engineers, investment professionals and analytics staff.

You will gain hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, build internal applications to support investment decisions, and receive mentorship from leaders while exploring cross-divisional events and volunteering

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree with expected graduation December 2027 - June 2028.
• On track to achieve a minimum 2.1 degree.
• Business proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing and applying complex analytical methods to massive data sets to manage risk and search for alpha for clients.
• Creating and improving internal applications used by the firm to execute investment strategies, manage risk and support our clients.
• Building tools and platforms to help portfolio managers analyze data and leverage advances in big data analytics.
• Streamlining trade floor processes, trade executions and transaction costs, and identifying new technologies to improve business value.
