Job summary

Arup in Belfast is inviting applications for a 6-week Summer Internship in Structural Engineering. You'll join our Buildings team, gaining hands-on experience on real projects, from early concept through design development, while learning how we balance safety, sustainability and client needs.

You will contribute to calculations, analysis and modelling, assist with selecting economical structures, and communicate through drawings, BIM, reports and meetings.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an MSc, MEng or BEng in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
• Genuine interest in structural engineering and in developing a career in the built environment
• Enthusiasm for Building Design sector

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural calculations, analysis and modelling.
• Communicate through drawings, BIM, reports and meetings.
