Job summary

Autodesk in Birmingham is seeking undergraduates for a Summer 2027 Intern Software Engineer role. You’ll join an Agile Scrum team of 5–8 engineers working on Fusion 360, mentored by experienced Autodesk developers, and gain hands-on experience in C++, TypeScript, and AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 120 UCAS points and predicted 1st or 2:1 degree.

Responsibilities

• Work on real commercial development projects mentored by Autodesk engineers.
• Gain experience of working on large team-based software development.
• Learn to write robust commercial software.
• Understand commercial development processes used at Autodesk.
• Engage with Agile and Scrum practices.
• Use source control and CI platforms such as GitHub and Jenkins.
