Job summary

PIMCO Europe Ltd. in London offers a 10-week Summer Internship in Client Solutions & Analytics (MFE). You will partner with clients to develop expertise across multi-asset topics and gain hands-on experience in portfolio construction and risk analyses.

The role requires a Master’s in Financial Engineering or related field, strong statistics/econometrics foundations, and programming skills (Python essential; MATLAB a plus). English proficiency is required and relocation support may be provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Financial Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• Business proficiency in English; eager to work in London.
• Strong foundations in statistics/econometrics; data analysis experience preferred.
• Proficiency in programming; Python required, MATLAB a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support asset allocation and risk management solutions for clients.
• Run risk analytics, optimisations, scenario analyses and stress tests using proprietary/external data.
• Develop quantitative models and analytical tools for portfolio insights.
• Produce risk attribution and product analysis reports on a periodic basis.
• Utilise AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and insights.
